Eastleigh u3a have invited us to join them on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday afternoon each month, 2-4pm;, at Banister Park Bowling Club, North Stoneham, SO50 9HT. The cost is £5 per person. You will need to bring your Chandlers Ford u3a card, no jeans are allowed and white-soled shoes/trainers. They play indoors so the weather is immaterial. You will be set up with the right size of woods that you need and personal instruction to help you; and there is a bar for when it's time to have a break! It's fun, there's no groaning or moaning when your ball runs too far along the green mat into the gulley, or strays into another lane but plenty of encouragement and words of wisdom on how to improve.
