Do you enjoy doing cryptic crosswords? Would you like to learn how to do them? If so, why not join the Cryptic Crossword Group. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month, at 10am, via Zoom. We normally manage to do two Times Quick Cryptics each meeting, to give you a rough idea of the standard of the group. Initially, we start off tackling the crosswords individually, but when we start to get stuck, we ask each other for hints. There is usually someone in the group who has managed to solve the clue that is eluding you.
If you don't know how to solve these types of crossword, but would like to learn, then you are also welcome to join the group. As we go through the two crosswords we have selected to solve each meeting, we will go through the clues with you, and explain how to interpret them and work out the answer to the clue.
