If you enjoy going to the theatre, amateur dramatics or being part of a lively reading group, then think about joining a Play Reading Group. There is nothing to learn or prepare and different reading accents or voices are not obligatory. The aim of our group is enjoyment. The leader selects a different play for each monthly meeting from the collection of play sets available from Hampshire Library Service. Over the year we read comedies, mysteries, farces and well known ex West End plays. We usually read through the play in one afternoon and finish with a welcome cup of tea and a biscuit. We meet in a member's house, but you do not have to be able to sit ten people in your own lounge in order to join this group - you just have to remember where to go each month
