Most of us had a little knowledge of Spanish previously but our abilities were mixed. But however informal the approach to a language may be, it became evident that a certain amount of knowledge of grammar and of verbs was necessary, so we bought verbs tables, a dictionary and a grammar book. We have no-one in our group who is completely fluent in Spanish.  We meet every Monday but on the 3rd Monday of the month some members prefer to go to the general U3A meeting.

We hold our Monday meetings in the Central club which is near Chandler's Ford Central Precinct.

We are learning at CEFR level B1. 

Each session is organised by individual members who volunteer on a rota. This gives us a variety of exercises.
